Take the Hassle Out of Clinical Forms Management
Despite advances in technology, staging a tumor remains a primarily manual process for many hospitals, requiring the physician to reference the patient’s chart and images of the tumor. The staging information needs to be entered into one of 45 AJCC standard staging forms to be faxed to the National Cancer Registry. Using Access Evolution, electronic versions of all 45 AJCC forms are produced.

• Staging scores are automatically calculated based upon the staging fields selected
• Web links on the form allow for immediate access to the patient’s electronic medical record and PACS images from any browser-enabled EMR or PACS viewers, and by bridging the data to the Access Patient Flow System (PFS), the AJCC standard forms are quickly completed and printed or faxed to the National Cancer Registry.  

As patient data is pre-loaded into the form, automatic selection of the correct EMR records and PACS images is guaranteed. This ensures greater accuracy, patient safety and patient satisfaction.
