Tomball Regional Hospital

Tomball Regional Medical Center, a 357-bed facility that serves North Houston and surrounding cities, selected Access’s Patient Flow System (PFS) to standardize and barcode forms, eliminate the cost of pre-printed forms and support the transition to a paperless environments.

When using paper forms, a registrar in Tomball Regional’s admissions department got up from his or her desk to find forms for each patient’s registration packet. Once the patient was registered, the registrar then assembled a paper financial folder for distribution to other departments. Now, clerks use Access’s e-Signature module to obtain a secure, legally acceptable signature on electronic forms.

In this case study, you’ll discover how an forms automation solution improved the experience of a patient at Tomball Regional, and how the PFS suite and supporting products are providing time, cost and environmental savings across the facility.
